Cowgirl Tennis Ranked No. 12 in ITA Rankings

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State women's tennis team earned a No. 12 ranking in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings.
The Cowgirls enter the NCAA tournament with a 21-5 record and are fresh off a semifinals appearance at the Big 12 Championships. The squad also prepares to host its first on-campus NCAA regional in program history.
Two Cowgirls show up in the singles ranking. Viktoriya Lushkova is ranked No. 17 and is an automatic qualifier for the NCAA singles championships. Freshman Vladica Babic is tabbed as the 99th best player in the nation.
Lushkova and partner Kelsey Laurente team up as the No. 12 doubles team in the country. The duo was also selected to compete in the NCAA doubles championship.
OSU hosts No. 27 Arizona State, No. 39 Arkansas and Boston U. in an NCAA regional on May 9-10. The Cowgirls will take on the BU Terriers on May 9 at 1 p.m. A win would put the Cowgirls against the winner of the Arizona State
