Three Cowgirls Named to NCEA All-American Teams

STILLWATER - Three members of the Oklahoma State equestrian team were named to the 2014-15 National Collegiate Equestrian Association All-America class, the league announced Wednesday.
Senior Katy Krshka was named a First Team All-American in the horsemanship and reining events. Krshka, has notched a 19-3 overall record this season with a 9-2 mark in horsemanship and a 10-1 record in reining, while also garnering 10 total MOP (Most Outstanding Performer) honors. It is the fourth-straight season Krshka has been honored as an All-American. In March, she was named Big 12 Rider of the Year in horsemanship and Big 12 Co-Rider of the Year in reining for the 2014-15 season.
Senior Lindsey McMullen received Honorable Mention accolades in horsemanship. It qualifies as her third consecutive All-America honor, going back to her sophomore season. McMullen has tallied an 8-3 mark and one MOP in the event this season. She was named to her third-straight All-Big 12 Horsemanship team in March.
Junior Amy White earned Honorable Mention in equitation on the flat for her first All-America recognition. White is 6-2-1 in the event this season with two MOP's. She was named to the All-Big 12 Equitation on the Flat team last month.
The Cowgirls will be back in action next weekend when they compete at the NCEA Championships at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, Texas. The championships are scheduled to take place April 16-18.
