Cowgirls Ranked Fifth in ITA Attendance Rankings

SKILLMAN, N.J. - The Oklahoma State women's tennis team is ranked fifth in total attendance for their home matches during the months of January and February.
The Cowgirls are the only Big 12 team to appear in the rankings.
The Cowgirls had a total of 715 fans come out for three home matches at the Michael and Anne Greenwood Tennis Center, averaging 143 spectators per match. OSU went 3-0 at home during the two-month span, earning wins against No. 24 Ole Miss, No. 41 Arkansas and No. 47 SMU. The Cowgirls defeated Ole Miss 6-1 in January, while sweeping both Arkansas and SMU in February, 5-0 and 4-0, respectively.
The Cowgirl Tennis schedule features four home matches in March, providing a chance to climb higher in the rankings. The Cowgirls next home match is March 6 against Rice at 5 p.m.
The ITA Attendance Race is a monthly program in which teams are recognized for getting fans in the stands. This exciting race offers schools a way to garner recognition and extra incentive to bolster support.
