Cowboys Track and Field No. 12 in Latest Poll

STILLWATER, Okla. - After a third place finish at the 2015 Big 12 Indoor Championships, the Oklahoma State men's track and field team held onto its top-15 spot for the third straight week in the most recent USTFCCCA rankings release.
Holding firm at No. 12 for the second consecutive week, the Cowboys are the third highest-ranked track and field team in the Big 12 behind Texas and Texas Tech teams that finished one and two at this year's Big 12 Championships, respectively.
The Cowboys won four events at the 2015 Big 12 Championships in Ames, Iowa, including the distance medley relay, 5,000-meter run, mile run and weight throw. Those four titles tie the 2014 team for the most in school history at a conference indoor meet for the Cowboys.
The Cowgirls are sitting at 49th despite winning three Big 12 Indoor titles themselves in the distance medley relay, 1,000-and 800-meter runs. The team's 77 points were the most scored at a Big 12 meet in school history.
The last meet of the indoor season will be the NCAA Indoor Championships inside the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark., March 13-14. OSU will send members of both track and field teams to the meet.
