Orange And Black Gives Back Launched By OSU Athletics
March 04, 2015 | Cowgirl Tennis
The mission of the new program is built on a foundation of service with an emphasis on improving the lives of those in the Stillwater community and across the state of Oklahoma.
The pillars of the program include education, goodwill efforts, health and wellness, and youth development.
OSU's athletes and staff are already scheduled to participate in more than 20 community outreach events during the spring semester.
"We want the involvement of our student-athletes to be impactful, both for them and the community," said Alex Maun, who administers the program for OSU Athletics. "The response has been tremendous, by the Cowboy and Cowgirl athletes, as well as the community. We look forward to the continued growth of the program."
