Cowgirl Tennis Jumps to No. 13 in ITA Rankings

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State women's tennis team jumped up three spots to No. 13 in this week's ITA Tennis Rankings.
The latest team ranking marks the first time in 24 years that the Cowgirls have cracked the top 15. The Cowgirls finished the 1991 season ranked No. 11.
On Feb. 8, OSU improved to 7-2 when it defeated 11th-ranked Vanderbilt to close out competition at the ITA Team Indoor Nationals.
In addition to the outstanding team ranking, the Cowgirls also boast three ranked singles players, as well as a top-three doubles team.
Viktoriya Lushkova and Kelsey Laurente earned a No. 3 ranking in doubles, making them the highest-ranked Cowgirl duo in program history. The pair is 5-1 on the spring with an 18-3 overall record.
Sophomore All-American Lushkova comes in at No. 11 in singles, with transfer Kelsey Laurente and sophomore Katarina Adamovic checking in at No. 58 and No. 110, respectively.
The Cowgirls return to action on Feb. 21, when they take on No. 32 Tulsa at the Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla., at 1 p.m.
