Cowgirl Equestrian Checks In At No. 5 In Latest Rankings

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Equestrian was once again placed in the top five of the NCEA rankings, which were released Tuesday.
The Cowgirls concluded fall semester competition with an impressive 12-8 victory over Big 12 foe TCU last Saturday.
The team owns a 4-2 overall record and is undefeated in Big 12 conference play (3-0) and at home meets (3-0).
Senior Erin Willoughby is off to an exceptional start for OSU. The Murrieta, California native is a perfect 6-0 in Reining, with a high score of 72, which came against TCU.
The Cowgirls have been dominant in Reining all season long, which is reflected by their 5-0-1 record in the event across all meets. Collectively, the team has outscored its opponents 20-9-1 in the event.
OSU has also fared well in Hunt Seat competition. Sophomore Carly Barrick is 4-2 in both Equitation on the Flat and Equitation over Fences, with high scores of 92 (OSU's individual high score on the season) and 84 in each event.
Oklahoma State returns to action on Feb. 6 for a Big 12 matchup with Kansas State at Totusek Arena.
