Laurente Advances to Qualifying Draw

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State tennis senior Kelsey Laurente has advanced to the next round of Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American qualifying.
The Cowgirl advanced past the pre-qualifying bracket on Sunday with a straight-set victory against Zoë Katz of USC, 6-3, 6-2.
Laurente now advances to the All-American qualifying draw, which will begin play on Tuesday. Laurente joins fellow Cowgirl Vladica Babic in the qualifying draw for singles, which will take place at the Riviera Tennis Club.
The Cowgirls will have two pairings taking part in the qualifying draw for doubles. The No. 36 pairing of Viktoriya Lushkova and Carla Tur Mari will begin play this week. The duo of Katarina Adamovic and Babic, ranked No. 35 nationally, will also represent the Cowgirls in qualifying action.
