OSU Women's Tennis Stays in Top 20

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State women's tennis remains No. 19 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings announced today.
The Cowgirls went 2-0 in their opening weekend, shutting out both San Jose State and Louisiana Tech, 7-0, in a double header at the Greenwood Tennis Center on Saturday.
Singles and doubles rankings were not released this week. The next player rankings are scheduled to be released on Feb. 10. Viktoriya Lushkova and Katarina Adamovic were tabbed as the No. 10 and No. 53 singles players, respectively, in the Jan. 6 rankings. Lushkova and doubles partner Kelsey Laurente came in at No. 5 in doubles.
Lushkova went 12-4 in singles play during the fall and has yet to play in spring competition. After going 2-0 this weekend, Adamovic is 12-3 on the year.
The Cowgirls will be back in action on Jan. 24-25 as they compete at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia.
