STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Director of Tennis and head women's coach Chris Young has announced the addition of Natalie Pluskota as a volunteer assistant coach for the Cowgirls.
“We're very excited to have Natalie join our program,” Young said. “She was an amazing college player that has a lot of experience to share with our players. With all the success that she will bring to our program, both at the collegiate and the professional level, she is going to be a great mentor and help to our program. We couldn't be more excited for her to join us as she prepares to go back out on tour.”
Pluskota, a graduate from the University of Tennessee, was a four-time All-American, earning the doubles honor three times and the singles honor once. While a Lady Vol, she was ranked as high as No. 1 in doubles and No. 24 in singles in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings.
After graduating from Tennessee, Pluskota went on to play professionally and has won four ITF doubles titles with five more finals appearances. She reached a No. 157 world ranking in doubles and a No. 478 world ranking in singles.
“I'm excited to be here,” Pluskota said. “It's a great opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches in the country. Being around college tennis again, somewhere that I thrive and somewhere that I can become an asset to the girls, there's probably no better feeling than that.”
