A Quick 9 With ... Sam Stevens

Sam Stevens comes from a long line of successful golfers with multiple family members having won Kansas Amateur titles.
The Cowboy freshman has started to make a name for himself in the game, winning three consecutive Class 5A state titles as a member of the Kapaun Mt. Carmel squad. A four-time all-city and all-state selection, Stevens narrowly missed adding his own state amateur title to the family trophy case in 2013 and 2014, finishing as the runner-up on both occasions.
This past fall, he made three starts for the Cowboys with his best showing coming at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate where he tied for 13th place.
