:: Extended the Cowboys' winning streak in home openers to 19 games. OSU hasn't lost a home opener since 1995.
:: Was the Cowboys' 23rd consecutive home win over an unranked opponent, dating back to a loss to Houston in 2009.
:: Improved the Cowboys to 40-6 in their last 46 home openers.
:: Improved the Cowboys to 32-4 in their last 36 games against unranked opponents, dating back to the start of the 2010 season.

:: Oklahoma State blocked a PAT, field goal and punt. Those three blocks mark an Oklahoma State school record, a Big 12 record and only the second time in NCAA history that a team has blocked a PAT, field goal and punt in the same game. Oregon State accomplished the feat in 1996 against USC.
:: James Castleman's block of MSU's first PAT attempt was the third blocked kick of his career. The last PAT block for OSU came when Castleman blocked a kick against Iowa State last season.
:: Jordan Sterns' blocked punt in the first quarter was the first punt block by a Cowboy since Zack Craig blocked a punt against Oklahoma in 2013.
:: Ofa Hautau's FG block was the first block of his career. The last OSU FG block was by Castleman at West Virginia last season.
:: Garman's 87-yard TD pass to Brandon Sheperd was the second-longest pass in OSU history and the longest pass and reception of Garman's and Sheperd's careers. The longest pass was Zac Robinson's 95-yard TD toss to Jeremy Broadway against Iowa State in 2008.
:: OSU has scored 20 or more points in 54 consecutive games dating back to the start of the 2010 season. That streak is the longest active streak in the country and the second-longest since Division I split into the FBS/FCS in 1978, trailing only USC's 63 straight games of 20 or more points from Sept. 2, 2002 through Nov. 25, 2006.
:: Sheperd finished with a career-best 131 receiving yards. It is the first time a Cowboy has recorded at least 100 receiving yards since Tracy Moore totaled 100 yards in last year's Cotton Bowl.
:: OSU has at least one touchdown drive of faster than two minutes in each of its last 37 games and in 53 of its last 54 contests.
:: Tyreek Hill's 44-yard run in the third quarter was the longest OSU rush of the season.
:: Jimmy Bean recorded 1.5 tackles for loss in today's game. He has 6.5 in his last three games and 10 in is last five games.
:: Austin Hays' catch in the third quarter was his first reception since an 8-yard catch vs. Lamar last season.
:: Ben Grogan matched an OSU record for field-goal attempts with six. His four made field goals tie his career-best for a game.
