Beffer Named Big 12's Top Newcomer

IRVING, Texas -- Oklahoma State freshman Anna Beffer has been named the Big 12 Conference Newcomer of the Week for games played Sept. 26-28, it was announced by the league office today.
Beffer helped the Cowgirls run their winning streak to six games, their longest since opening the 2012 season 6-0-0, with victories over Iowa State and Dayton last weekend. In the two games, the forward from Tulsa recorded a goal and an assist as well as six shots, three of those on goal. Against Dayton, she notched an assist on OSU's first goal then sealed the win with a goal in the second half as the Cowgirls won, 2-0.
For the season, despite playing in only six games due to injury, Beffer ranks second on OSU with six points and two goals and is tied for the team lead with a pair of assists.

Groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets for $3 per person for every home match except the Bedlam contest. Kids join for only $25 - membership includes I.D. card, t-shirt and admission to all regular season soccer, wrestling, women's basketball, baseball and softball games.
