Adamovic, Guttormsen Set for Amelia Island Pro Circuit

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State tennis players Katarina Adamovic and Karyn Guttormsen head to Florida this weekend to compete at the Amelia Island Pro Circuit tournament on Sept. 21-24, held at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation.
Adamovic's International Tennis Federation ranking earns her a spot in the main draw for singles and doubles. The Cowgirl sophomore, currently ranked No. 900 in the world in singles, earned a career-high ranking of No. 831 last month, thanks to her outstanding summer. She also holds a No. 848 ranking in doubles.
Guttormsen will play in the 64-player qualifying tournament for a shot to compete in the main draw. The Kenosha, Wisc., native went 1-2 in singles play at last weekend's CCLR Collegiate Invitational in Little Rock, Ark.
