McMullen Selected for AQHA Collegiate Horsemanship Challenge

STILLWATER - Oklahoma State equestrian senior Lindsey McMullen will compete in the 2014 American Quarter Horse Association Horsemanship Challenge. The event is part of the AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City, Okla.
McMullen is one of eight riders selected by the NCEA selection committee to compete at the event. The selection is made based on the riders' 2013-14 individual statistics.
McMullen posted a 12-3 record in horsemanship during her junior season while also collecting one MOP honor in the Cowgirls' match against South Dakota State. The Norris, Tenn., native garnered First Team All-America honors in the horsemanship event and was named to the All-Big 12 team for horsemanship for the second-consecutive season.
The event will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 19, with preliminary action set for 11 a.m. CT. The finals will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20.
