Lushkova Advances at NCAA Individual Championships

ATHENS, Ga. - Oklahoma State women's tennis freshman Viktoriya Lushkova advanced to the round of 32 in the NCAA Individual Championships singles bracket in Athens, Ga., on Wednesday afternoon.
The 52nd-ranked freshman knocked off No. 42 Laura Antonana Iriarte of San Diego State, 6-2, 6-3, in her first career match at the tournament. The win was Lushkova's 18th of the year and sixth over a ranked opponent.
Lushkova will face 14th-ranked Olivia Janowicz of Florida in the round of 32 on Thursday.
