Lushkova Selected for NCAA Singles Championships

STILLWATER - Oklahoma State women's tennis freshman Viktoriya Lushkova has been selected to compete at the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Singles Championships. Lushkova is the first Cowgirl to earn an NCAA Singles Championship bid since Linda Faltynkova in 2002.
Lushkova's NCAA selection comes after the freshman notched an impressive 16-4 singles record in the No. 1 spot in her first semester at Oklahoma State. Lushkova knocked off four ranked opponents in 2014 and picked up two Big 12 Player of the Week honors.
The NCAA Singles Championships are set to begin May 21 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga.
