Cowgirl Tennis Ranked No. 29

Oklahoma State's women's tennis team is slotted at No. 29 in the latest team rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Tuesday.

The Cowgirls (6-5) jumped 10 spots in the rankings this week after knocking off 14th-ranked Oklahoma, 4-2, in Stillwater last Sunday. This week's ranking matches the highest position that the Cowgirls have held in the rankings this season.

Viktoriya Lushkova remains in the ITA singles rankings this week, jumping 25 spots to No. 83. The freshman has been unstoppable of late, winning her last nine matches and all seven of her matches in the top singles position for the Cowgirls.

Lushkova also joins senior Kanyapat Narattana in the ITA doubles rankings for the first time this season. The undefeated Cowgirl tandem currently sits at No. 37.

The Cowgirls will begin conference play on Friday, March 21, when they host TCU at the Greenwood Tennis Center IN Stillwater at 5 p.m.
