Catching Up With Yojiro Uetake

STILLWATER, Okla. – Yojiro Uetake Obata is often mentioned as one of the best wrestlers to ever live.
Finishing his collegiate career at a perfect 58-0, Uetake won three NCAA titles and three Big Eight Conference titles, in addition to two Olympic gold medals.
Uetake, who resides in his home nation of Japan, visited Stillwater earlier this year for the Cowboy Wrestling Reunion and sat down with okstate.com to reflect on his career and his time at Oklahoma State. His interview:
