Cowboys Move Into Seventh At U.S. Collegiate

Through 36 holes, the Cowboys have an even-par 576 tally at the par-72, 7,017-yard layout and are tied with Stanford. The two teams are a shot off the pace of LSU and Auburn. Texas moved to the top spot on the leaderboard at 10-under 566, putting the Longhorns a shot ahead of Virginia.
Virginia's Denny McCarthy maintained his hold on the individual lead after posting a 72 to stand at 9-under 135.
OSU freshman Kristoffer Ventura moved up three spots into a tie for third place at 138 after posting a 2-under 70.
Sophomore Wyndham Clark fired the squad's round of the day, signing for a 69 to move into a tie for 30th place at 145.
A trio of Cowboys all came in with 149 totals and tied for 54th place.
Junior Jordan Niebrugge carded a 72, sophomore Zachary Olsen posted a 75 and redshirt freshman Brendon Jelley logged a 77 to get to their respective totals.
The Cowboys will begin their final round tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. (EST) and will be grouped with Stanford and East Tennessee State.
