Three other `Horns are averaging double figures in scoring: Javan Felix (11.6 ppg), Isaiah Taylor (11.1 ppg) and Cameron Ridley (11.0 ppg). Demarcus Holland is sitting just under the double-figure scoring mark at 9.9 ppg.
As a team, Texas is averaging 78.8 ppg and outscoring its opponents by an average of eight points per contest. The Longhorns are shooting 44.5% from the floor, including 35.3% from long range. Texas is coached by Rick Barnes, who is 369-158 in his 16th season at the helm of the Longhorns.

Last Season vs the Longhorns
Oklahoma State swept Texas last season for just the second time since the Big 12 Conference formed. OSU defeated UT 72-59 in Austin before taking the two-game series with a 78-65 victory in Stillwater.
The defense was the difference-maker in both games as OSU held Texas to just 39.2% shooting from the floor in the two games, including just 10 of 40 (25%) from beyond the arc. The Cowboys also outrebounded the Longhorns by seven per game and attempted 39 more free throws in the two contests.
Markel Brown scored 35 points in the two games while Marcus Smart scored 34 and Le'Bryan Nash added 30.
OSU in Home Big 12 Openers
Oklahoma State is 13-4 in league home openers since the Big 12 formed in 1996-97, including a current four-game winning streak. OSU has opened Big 12 home action against Texas just once, losing to the Longhorns in 2002.
The Cowboys' most frequent opponent for opening conference play at home has been Texas Tech (five times). The only current Big 12 opponents OSU has never opened league play at home with are Kansas and West Virginia.
