IRVING, Texas -
Oklahoma State Cowgirl tennis team members Malika Rose and Kanyapat Narattana have been selected to the All-Big 12 doubles team, while Rose has also been selected to the All-Big 12 singles team, it was announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Rose's selection comes after a successful season playing in the No. 1 spot for the Cowgirls. During her final spring season, Rose defeated four opponents ranked in the top 50. The senior Cowgirl was named the Big 12 Player of the Week for the first time in her career in March. Rose was ranked as high as No. 58 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's singles rankings, and was instrumental in the Cowgirl tennis team's 2013 campaign.
Rose and Narattana teamed up to notch an 11-9 record in 2013, defeating five ranked doubles teams, including three in the top 20. The Cowgirl duo also received an at-large bid to compete in the NCAA doubles tournament later this month.
