The Oklahoma State tennis tandem of Malika Rose and Kanyapat Narattana has received an at-large bid to compete in this year's NCAA individual tennis championships. The pair will compete in the 32-team NCAA doubles draw, and will be the first Cowgirl doubles team to compete in the individual championships since 2002.
Rose and Narattana's NCAA selection comes after a successful season for the two Cowgirls. The duo recorded an 11-9 record competing as the No. 1 doubles team for the Cowgirls in 2013, and has victories over four teams in the tournament field this season, including an impressive 8-5 win over the tournament's third-seeded doubles team of Patricia Veresova and Mary Weatherholt in the Cowgirls' upset win over No. 12 Nebraska in March.
The NCAA individual championships begin May 22 at the University of Illinois.
