Cowgirls Move Into 20th At NCAA Championship

ATHENS, Ga. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team posted a 6-over 294 during its third round on Thursday at the NCAA Championship to move into 20th place at the University of Georgia Golf Course.
The Cowgirls started the day in 22nd place before using their low round of the event to move up two spots at the par-72, 6,372-yard layout. Through 54 holes, OSU stands at 897, 33-over, and two shots behind Vanderbilt.
Southern California strengthened its hold on the top spot on the leaderboard, finishing the day at 845 and 17 shots ahead of Duke.
USC's Annie Park posted a 70 during her third round to move from second place into the top spot on the leaderboard. She stands at 9-over 207 and two shots clear of the field.
Julie Yang was one of three OSU players to card a 73 on the day. The freshman's 1-over score moved her into a tie for 24th place at 3-over 219.
Junior Jayde Panos also carded a 73 and moved up 12 spots into a tie for 45th place into at 222.
Junior Josephine Janson posted a 76 to stand at 228 and tied for 82nd place.
Junior Lauren Falley and senior Kelsey Vines finished the day among the group tied for 108th at 231. Falley carded a 73 to move up 12 spots, while Vines' 75 moved her up two slots.
The Cowgirls will begin their final round tomorrow at 7:33 a.m. (EST) and will be grouped with Vanderbilt and Texas.
