Krshka and Harrison Named Big 12 Riders of the Month

STILLWATER— Coming off their second-straight Big 12 Championship, sophomore Katy Krshka and junior Samantha Harrison have been recognized with the Big 12 Rider of the Month awards for competition during the month of March, it was announced today.
Krshka claimed both Western awards, winning the Reining and Horsemanship honors. She helped lead the Cowgirls to their second-consecutive Big 12 Championship while compiling a 8-0 record in horsemanship and reining in the month of March. She also finished the season 16-0 in horsemanship with four MOP performances this month including both the Big 12 Championship horsemanship and reining MOPs.
Harrison was honored as the Equitation on the Flat Rider of the Month after she helped lead the Cowgirls to their second-consecutive Big 12 Championship while picking up MOP honors in equitation on the flat in the Big 12 Championship.
This is Krshka's fourth career Big 12 Rider of the Month award and third of the season, while Samantha Harrison picked up her second after an Equitation over Fences Rider of the Month in February.
