Sardinha Earns Academic All-Big 12 Honors

IRVING, Texas -

Oklahoma State Cowgirl tennis senior C.C. Sardinha has been named to the 2013 first team Academic All-Big 12 tennis team, the league office announced on Tuesday.

To qualify for the Academic All-Big 12 team, student athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher, and must have competed in 60 percent or more of their team's scheduled contests. First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA.

Sardinha was also named to the Academic All-Big 12 tennis team in 2012, making this her second time to receive the honor.
