STILLWATER— Oklahoma State's third-ranked equestrian team will host No. 4 South Carolina this Saturday at the Animal Science Arena at 10 a.m.
About the Cowgirls
Oklahoma State is 8-4 on the season, after falling to Baylor in raw scores, 1471-1346.75 on February 23 and defeating TCU, 11-8 on February 24.
OSU in the Rankings
The Cowgirls are ranked third in the latest Women's Intercollegiate Equestrian National Coaches Poll.
About the Opponents
South Carolina is 6-4 on the season and ranked fourth in the latest poll.
Recent Meeting
The Cowgirls fell to the Gamecocks 13-7 overall earlier this season but won western in raw scores, 663.5-638.
Dominating the Field
Sophomore Katy Krshka will look to secure her 12th MOP this season. She won the horsemanship MOP against South Carolina earlier this season and was the February Big 12 Rider of the Month for reining.
Winning Streaks
Oklahoma State's western team is 11-1 on the season and will look to secure their eighth straight victory.
Strength of Schedule
After this weekends meet, the Cowgirls will have faced teams ranked in the Top-5 four times. The Cowgirls defeated then No. 3 Texas A&M,16-8, on February 2. They lost to then No. 4 South Carolina, 13-7, on September 29 and then No. 3 Auburn, 10-9, on September 28.
