FLUSHING, N.Y. -
Oklahoma State women's tennis senior Kanyapat Narattana won her first round match, advancing to the round of 16 at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Indoor Championships on Thursday afternoon.
Narattana had a strong performance on Thursday, knocking off 26th-ranked Nadia Ravita of Kentucky, 6-4, 6-4, in her first match of the weekend to pick up her eighth straight win. The win was the senior's tenth victory—and sixth straight-set triumph—of the fall season.
Narattana now awaits the winner of the match currently in progress between top-ranked Sabrina Santamaria of USC and No. 36 Ronit Yurovsky of Michigan. The senior Cowgirl will look to keep rolling when she competes in the tournament's round of 16 on Friday.
