STILLWATER -
After winning its sixth-straight Big 12 Championship on Saturday, Oklahoma State men's cross country has kept its No. 3 ranking in the nation, according to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll, which was released today.
This is the 41st-consecutive poll in which OSU has been ranked in the nation's top three. The last time the Cowboys weren't ranked in the top three was in 2009, when they spent two weeks at No. 4.
The Cowboys earned two of the 12 first-place votes, one more than in the previous poll. OSU's 341 points in the poll were only one point behind No. 2 Northern Arizona.
OSU cross country will be back in action on Nov. 15, when the teams travel to Ames, Iowa, for the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships.
