Equestrian Drops One Spot to No. 5

The Oklahoma State equestrian team dropped one spot to No. 5 in this week's National Collegiate Equestrian Association rankings, it was announced today.
The drop comes after the Cowgirls (0-1) fell, 11-9, to now fourth-ranked Kansas State (2-1) in their season opener Sept. 28 in Manhattan, Kan.
In the competition, the western team won 6-4, picking up a victory in the horsemanship category, but falling in reining. Meanwhile, the hunter seat team fell to the Wildcats, 7-3.
The Cowgirls will return to the arena after a month off when they travel to Waco, Texas to take on the Baylor Bears on Oct. 26. 2013-14.
