STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Athletic Department hosted a student-athlete etiquette dinner on Monday night in the Student Union. The dinner provided students the opportunity to display etiquette skills during a networking dinner with OSU administrators, athletic staff and guests.
Last week, OSU student-athletes learned business etiquette principles for success beyond their athletic arenas. Dr. Cara Ferrell, Assistant Director for Student Services with OSU Career Services, led a week-long Emily Post Institute seminar series on the basics of business etiquette.
The seminar took a fresh look at etiquette today and the principles of developing relationships with others. Students also learned the real-world importance of manners and how these skills apply in personal relationships.
Athletes from football, soccer, wrestling, men's and women's basketball, softball, equestrian and women's tennis were represented at the dinner.
