STILLWATER - The Oklahoma State men's cross country team remains No.1 in the Midwest Region and the women remain No. 2, according to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association regional poll that was released this morning.
The Cowboys continue to hold off No. 2 Oklahoma as there were no changes to the top 10. This week's poll did see the addition of two teams. Loyola-Chicago debuted at No. 11 and Southeast Missouri entered the poll at No. 15.
The Cowgirls remained at No. 2 behind Iowa State. The only new addition to the poll was South Dakota debuting at No. 15.
Both teams return to action Sept. 29 when they compete in the Cowboy Jamboree held at the OSU Cross Country Course in Stillwater.
