Official Gameday Shirt Chosen By Fans

STILLWATER, Okla. - For the third-consecutive year, Oklahoma State fans have selected the official "Live Orange" shirt for the 2012-13 athletic seasons.

The Nike-designed shirt with design "A" was the overwhelming favorite, tallying 60 percent of the vote. Voting opened on April 21, the day of the OSU Spring Football Finale, and closed on May 4.

The design features the face of Pistol Pete, voted America's Favorite Mascot, inside the state of Oklahoma on the front to showcase Oklahoma State as the State's University. The iconic OSU-brand logo is on the back.

Fans will be able to purchase the shirts beginning this summer at all Nike retailers and online at shop.okstate.com, the official online store of OSU Athletics.

Fans are encouraged to wear the shirt on Sat., Sept. 1, for the Cowboy football season-opener against Savannah State and throughout the athletic seasons until the final Cowboy baseball game in May to show the world how you "Live Orange."
