Stillwater, Okla. — Oklahoma State's Cowgirl Softball team travels to Lubbock, Texas, this weekend for a three-game series with the 24th-ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders. The series will begin on Saturday afternoon with 1 pm game at Rocky Johnson Field.
OSU is 24-21 overall this season and 7-11 in Big 12 Conference action, currently in sixth place in the league standings. Tech is 38-14 overall, 11-9 in league play and sits in fifth place in the Big 12 standings. With the Raiders being ranked No. 24 nationally, the Cowgirls will finish the regular season playing 13 games against ranked opponents.
Oklahoma State is 31-12 all-time against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, including an 11-6 mark in games played in Lubbock. The Cowgirls won both games played in Stillwater last season, and have won six of the last eight after the Red Raiders won four consecutive.
The series will continue on Sunday with a game at 2 pm, and conclude on Monday with a final game at 4 pm.
