Cowgirls Set for Bedlam Round Two

STILLWATER, Okla.—The No. 46 Cowgirl tennis team will take on No. 54 Oklahoma Saturday at 1 p.m. at the DeBois Tennis Complex for the second time this season.
Oklahoma State (10-6, 4-3 Big 12) sits in fifth place in the Big 12 standings. The Sooners (9-10, 4-3 Big 12) match the Cowgirls' conference record while sitting in sixth place. Both teams suffered losses to Texas Tech and Baylor last weekend.
At the No. 1 singles position for the Cowgirls is No. 120 C.C. Sardinha. The junior is 8-8 on the season.
The Sooners are led by 46th-ranked doubles pair of Marie-Pier Huet and Whitney Ritchie at the No. 1 doubles position. The duo is 15-4 on the season.
The two teams went head-to-head earlier this season resulting in a 5-2 upset for the Sooners. The Cowgirls lead the Bedlam tennis series all-time 30-16.
“Bedlam is always an exciting match for everyone involved,” coach Chris Young said. “We look forward to the match and another opportunity for our fans to enjoy a great match.”
In addition to free admission, there will be free pizza as well as OSU sunglasses for kids and the first 100 fans.
