Cowgirls Finish 13th at Ping/ASU Invitational

TEMPE, Ariz. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team carded a 307 during the third round at the Ping/ASU Invitational to finish in 13th place at Karsten Golf Course.
The Cowgirls' 48-over score put them a shot behind Vanderbilt at the par-71, 6,121-yard layout. UCLA closed with a 292 to finish at 857 and 12 shots clear of the field.
UCLA's Ani Gulugian and UC Davis' Demi Runas finished as the lone two players in the field under par, tallying 1-under 212 totals to share medalist honors.
Junior Kelsey Vines took top honors among OSU players, finishing tied for 15th place after closing with a 77 to finish at 218.
Sophomore Amy Ruengmateekhun posted a 78 for a 223 total to tie for 32nd place.
Senior Jocelyn Alford's 79 put her at 227 and tied for 51st place, while sophomore Jayde Panos posted the squad's low round of the day with a 74 to finish at 235 and tied for 78th.
Sophomore Josephine Janson closed with a 78 to finish at 237 and alone in 84th place.
The Cowgirls will continue their spring slate on April 16 when they begin play at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate at Half Moon Bay Golf Links.
