Nick Miller Places Second at Texas Relays

AUSTIN, Texas – Oklahoma State freshman thrower Nick Miller had an impressive performance in a second-place finish in the hammer throw at the Texas Relays, hosted by the University of Texas.
The Carlisle, United Kingdom, native competed unattached and posted a 65.09-meter effort in the hammer throw to place second in the event on Thursday. His mark currently stands as the best effort in the Big 12 this season, as well as the second-best in the Midwest Region and the fourth-best nationally.
Sophomore Andrew Hudson competed in the discus throw on Friday, placing ninth after recording a throw of 51.83 meters.
Cowgirl sophomore Brooke Gritters will compete in the discus throw on Saturday at 10 a.m. to wrap up OSU's participation at the Texas Relays.
