Stillwater, Okla. — Oklahoma State's Cowgirl softball team will host a three-game series this weekend with the No. 15 Texas A&M Aggies, starting on Friday night at 7 pm. The Cowgirls and Aggies will play Saturday at 4 pm and Sunday at noon.
OSU has won nine of its last 13 games, but lost three of the last four. While struggling at the plate this season as a team, the Cowgirl pitching staff and defense has kept Oklahoma State in most games this season. In fact, eight of OSU's 13 losses have been by three or fewer runs, and three of the last four losses have been one-run games, including two in extra innings.
OSU is 16-13 overall this season and 1-3 in Big 12 Conference action following a 4-0 loss to No. 7 Oklahoma on Wednesday in Oklahoma City. Texas A&M is 23-9 overall, 3-1 in league play after a 6-1 win in College Station on Wednesday night. The Aggies lead the all-time series with the Cowgirls, 45-23.
