Stillwater, Okla. — Oklahoma State's softball team will travel to Oklahoma City, Okla., Wednesday evening for round one of Bedlam on the softball diamond. The game, scheduled for 7:30 pm, will be played at the Don E Porter/ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.
In conjunction with the game, ASA and The Oklahoman will be running a crayon drive to benefit North Highland Elementary School in OKC. Fans are encouraged to bring a new pack of crayons to the game and, in exchange, they will receive a free soft drink in an ASA Complex souvenir cup (limit one souvenir drink per person).
Oklahoma State is 16-12 overall this season and 1-2 in Big 12 Conference action following a 3-1 win at Kansas on Sunday. The Sooners are 26-4 overall and 2-1 in league play following a couple of wins over Baylor last weekend.
The all-time Bedlam softball series is deadlocked at 70 wins each. This will mark the first time since the 1996 season that Oklahoma State will play a conference game on a neutral field.
