Cowboys Face Jayhawks in Lawrence

Stillwater, Okla. — Oklahoma State's Cowboy Basketball team travels to Lawrence, Kan., this weekend for a matchup with the seventh-ranked Kansas Jayhawks. Tipoff for Saturday's game inside Allen Fieldhouse is set for 3 pm, and the game will be televised by the Big 12 Network (KOCB channel 34 in Oklahoma City, KTUL channel 8 in Tulsa).
The Cowboys are 12-12 overall this season and 5-6 in Big 12 Conference action following a 69-67 win over Iowa State on Tuesday night. The Jayhawks are 19-5 overall, 9-2 in league play and coming off a 68-54 win at Baylor on Wednesday night.
Keiton Page, who will start his 100th-career game at Lawrence, leads the Pokes in scoring, averaging 14.2 points per game. He is the Big 12 active leader in career three-pointers made. He also leads the team in assists with 52. Le'Bryan Nash is second on the squad at 13.4 points per contest and is fourth on the squad in rebounding, averaging 4.9 boards per game.
KU is led by junior forward Thomas Robinson, who is averaging 17.8 points and 12 rebounds per game this season. Senior guard Tyshawn Taylor is second on the team in scoring (17 ppg) and leads the squad with 5.1 assists per contest.
While the Jayhawks own the all-time series with OSU 104-53, the Cowboys have won six of the last 16 meetings. Oklahoma State's last three wins against Kansas have come when the Jayhawks were ranked in the top-10 nationally. OSU has not won in Lawrence since 1989, a span of 15 games.
