Kaci O'Rourke Wins At The NRHA Futurity

STILLWATER-- Freshmen Kaci O'Rourke scored a 220 to win the Novice Horse Non-Pro North American Championship last Tuesday at the National Reining Horse Association Futurity in Oklahoma City.
O'Rourke bested the class of 94 riders, taking top honors in the youth 14-18 competition.
Junior Jenna Blumer placed third in the Non-Pro event with a score of 216.5.
Freshmen Justine Peters placed 13th in the event.
"Kaci, Jenna and Justine really represented OSU well at this prestigious competition" coach Larry Sanchez said. "They beat some of the toughest non-pro and youth competitors in the world."
The NRHA Futurity is held in Oklahoma City each year at the State Fairgrounds and attracts participants from all over the world.
