Cowgirls Host Arkansas in Doubleheader

Stillwater, Okla. — Oklahoma State's Cowgirl softball team will host the Arkansas Razorbacks in a doubleheader this Sunday at the Cowgirl Softball Complex.
OSU has compiled a 3-0 record this fall with all games resulting in shutouts. The Cowgirl pitching staff has accumulated 50 strikeouts in 30 innings while issuing just six walks and allowing just nine hits. Opponents are hitting .092 against the three Cowgirl hurlers.
Meanwhile, offensively, Oklahoma State has been punishing the ball, hitting .386 as a team with 13 doubles and three home runs. Second baseman Ari Morrison leads the Cowgirl offensive attack with a .750 batting average, with 12 hits in 16 at-bats. Outfielder Shannon Kaufman is batting .600 with a team-high eight runs scored, and Samantha Chrisman is also hitting .600 with two doubles and four RBIs.
The doubleheader starts at 1 pm and admission is free.
