Joyce Takes Third In Amateur Adult Medal Final

West Springfield, Mass. – Allison Joyce placed third in the Amateur Adult Medal Final at the prestigious 37^th annual New England Equitation Championships this past weekend at the Eastern States Coliseum.

The OSU sophomore placed third out of this year's 88 qualifiers.

Joyce rode the horse, Charlie Brown, a horse that she met just 24 hours prior to the weekend's competition.

Joyce scored an 86.5 in the first round of competition and followed that with a score of 85.66 in the second round. She was then called back with four other riders to the final, which she finished third in.

For many years people have referred to the NEEC as the finest regional medal final in the country.
