STILLWATER, Okla. (Jan. 19, 2012) - Cowboy Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Sports and exclusive multimedia rights holder for Oklahoma State University Athletics, announced today that Stillwater Broadcasting LLC extended its agreement to remain OSU's flagship radio partner for the next five years.
The extension allows for Stillwater's KSPI 93.7 FM and KGFY 105.5 FM to carry Oklahoma State game action and related programming through the 2016-'17 athletic season.
"We're pleased to have this agreement in place and look forward to providing our listeners with exciting OSU athletics for the next five years," said Robert Mahaffey, President of Stillwater Broadcasting LLC. "OSU already has had an accomplished athletic season across all sports, and what an incredible BCS win for the football team at the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl!"
As part of the extension, KSPI will carry all football, men's basketball and baseball games, as well as provide wrestling coverage. Additionally, a coach's show and daily show will air for football and men's basketball. KGFY will air women's basketball, softball and soccer games, and a coach's show and a daily show will be broadcast for the Olympic sports as well.
"These two stations have done an excellent job providing quality programming and game coverage, and we're certainly pleased to extend our relationship with them moving forward," said Kip Racy, general manager for Cowboy Sports Properties, which oversees every aspect of the Cowboy Radio Network. "We continually look at ways we can enhance the radio broadcast experience for fans and strongly believe we have a solid, long-term partner in Stillwater Broadcasting."
