Cowgirl Equestrian Opens Season With SMU

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State equestrian hunter seat team opens the 2011-12 season when they host the SMU Mustangs at Animal Science Arena Saturday at 10 a.m.
About The Cowgirls
The Cowgirls are coming off another successful season, capped off by a fourth-place finish in the hunter seat at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships.
About SMU
The Mustangs are 1-0 after defeating TCU 6-4 in the season opener. The Cowgirls defeated the Mustangs, 7-2, in their meeting last year in Dallas.
Equitation On The Flat
Riding for the Cowgirls on the flat are senior Jordan White, junior Ellie Sparks and sophomores Allison Dooman, Andrea Robbins and Allison Rose.
Equitation Over Fences
Joining Robbins and Sparks in equitation over fences are sophomore Sammy Elser and newcomers Maggie Gampfer and Olivia Trueb.
