Cowgirl Netters Head to Tulsa for Doubleheader

STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State women's tennis team travels to Tulsa, Okla., Friday for a non-conference doubleheader at the Case Tennis Center. The Cowgirls will take on Oral Roberts at noon, followed by a matchup with 22nd-ranked Tulsa at 5 p.m.
OSU is coming off of a 5-2 win over Louisiana State and enters Friday's competition with a 2-6 record on the year. The Cowgirls singles play this season has been highlighted by sophomore Malika Rose and freshman Kanyapat Narattana, who hold 7-0 and 4-2 dual records, respectively.
ORU enters the match on a four-match losing streak, but holds a 1-4 record on the year with its season opening 7-0 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Golden Eagles are coming off a 6-1 loss to Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 19.
Tulsa, holding a 12-2 record, enters the weekend as one of the top teams in the country. The No. 22 Golden Hurricane is riding a seven-match winning streak which includes victories over three ranked opponents. Sophomore Michelle Farley leads the team in dual wins, holding a 13-1 record on the year.
