Page Earns Academic Honors

Stillwater, Okla. — Oklahoma State's Keiton Page has been named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team, it was announced today by the Big 12 Conference office. Page is a junior majoring in physical education.
The Cowboy co-captain is a member of a select group. Only 12 student-athletes were named to the first team while four others received second-team status. First-team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better grade point average and the second team are those who have a 3.00-3.19 GPA.
Page also became just the 34th player in school history to record 1,000 points in a career this week. His free throw at the 16:07 mark against Texas on Wednesday night was his 1,000th career point.
Page is the 16th Cowboy to receive academic accolades from the league office since the Big 12 formed in 1996-97. It marks the 13th time in the league's 15-year history that a Cowboy has received first-team honors.
