STILLWATER – The No. 59 Oklahoma State women's tennis team (1-5) will face its first unranked opponent since its season-opener Sunday, taking on the Wichita State Shockers at 4 p.m. at the Wichita Country Club.
The No. 59 Cowgirls started their season off with a 6-1 victory against Mississippi State, but have since dropped five matches, all against ranked opponents. OSU's standout performer to date has been sophomore Malika Rose, who looks to improve on her perfect 5-0 dual record in singles play.
The Shockers are 2-2 this season, having won their last two matches, both by the score of 7-0, against UTEP and Creighton.
The match marks the last competition for the Cowgirls before taking a long break prior to their Feb. 26 contest against LSU in Baton Rouge, La.
