SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Oklahoma State overcame a 12-point second-half deficit to beat Missouri State 72-67 on Wednesday night. It was the third time this season that OSU has come back after trailing in the second period.
After trailing 39-27 with 17:55 left, the Cowboys (6-2) worked their way back into the game with a 17-5 run to tie it at 47 with 12:03 left. Oklahoma State held the Bears (5-3) scoreless in the last 4:08.
Le'Bryan Nash led the Cowboys with 19 points, Kelton Page added 15 and Jean-Paul Olukemi had 13. Olukemi also added nine rebounds.
Kyle Weems led Missouri State with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Jarmar Gulley had 19 points.
Weems sparked Missouri State to a 34-27 halftime lead with 15 points, including 10 points in the final 5:19 of the half.
