Midway through the first half, the Hoosiers (2-5) used a 12-0 run to erase a four-point deficit and take a 23-15 lead. However, the Cowgirls (4-0) answered with an 8-0 run while holding Indiana scoreless over the final 2:31 of the period to take a 36-31 lead into the intermission.
